Charier has decided to install a solar power plant on its new headquarters!

A commitment to sustainability

The construction company aims to reduce its C0² emissions by 50% by 2030. A year ago, they decided to build a passive building in Couëron, near Nantes (France) and establish its head office there. The design was completely thought out to limit its carbon footprint (orientation, triple glazing, heat pump, etc.).

A solar power plant to reduce its carbon footprint

To meet this “green” ambition, Charier also called on Legendre Energy to build a photovoltaic installation on the roof of its head office. With a power of 36 kWp, the solar power plant produces around 40 MWh per year, which is fed directly into the public electricity network.
